Body Positivity &
Empowerment

Our Spring 2025 Project focuses on female empowerment through body positive associations and Empowerment. Proceeds from the final event will support GIRLS INC and National Women’s law center.

How it Works

Workshops + Mentorship + Create

Writing Workshops | Expression for All Ages: All workshops are open and inclusive and are Free to attend.

  • April 7th, 3:00PM - 5PM | Katonah Reading Room | For All Ages | Drop into the reading room to learn about all the ways you can participate and express yourself this month. In-person activities available. 

  • April 9th, 4:30 - 5:45PM | Katonah Village Library | For Ages 6+ | Join this writing and expression workshop surrounding body positivity. 

  • April 23rd, 4:30 - 5:45PM | Katonah Village Library | For Ages 6+ | Join this writing and expression workshop surrounding body positivity. 

  • April 24th, 10AM - 11:30AM | Katonah Reading Room | For Adult Women | Join an open and inclusive space to use writing as a means of expression. No writing experience required. 

  • April 26th, 5 - 7PM | Katonah Reading Room | All Ages | Stop by during the Katonah Art Walk to participate IN a community collaboration.

  • All Month | Review our inspiration page for prompts and ideas to kick off your writing.

Contribute your words as community pieces and as individual work. Pieces submitted will be displayed at our reading showcase in May.
